Sri Lanka made 2 changes in their playing 11 for the third Test match against England
ENG vs SL 3rd Test: The third match of the three-match Test series being played between England and Sri Lanka will be played at Kennington Oval ground in London from 6 September. Host England has already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in this Test series by winning the first two matches of this Test series, while now Sri Lanka has announced its playing 11 for the third Test match, in which 2 big changes have also been seen. The Sri Lankan team has decided to include Kusal Mendis and Vishwa Fernando in the playing 11 for the Oval Test match in place of Nishan Madushanka and Prabhat Jayasuriya, who played in the second Test match.
Kusal Mendis got a chance in the first test
Sri Lankan team’s wicketkeeper batsman Kusal Mendis got a chance to play in the first match of this Test series, but he was not able to perform well with the bat. Mendis scored 24 in the first innings of that match and could not even open his account in the second. After this, he was not included in the playing 11 in the Lord’s Test match. Now again he has been included in the playing 11 in place of Nishan Madushanka, who was handling the opening responsibility in the first 2 matches. Keeping in mind the Oval pitch, Sri Lanka’s team has included additional fast bowler Vishwa Fernando in the team in place of spinner Prabhat Jayasuriya. Fernando played in the first match of this Test series in which he took 2 wickets.

Host England had already announced its playing 11 for the Oval Test match, in which one change has been made. England has given a chance to debut Josh Hull in the playing eleven in place of Matthew Pott. Josh Hull plays for Leicestershire in the County Championship. He has taken 16 wickets in 10 first class matches.
