Mohammed Siraj And Ravindra Jadeja
Duleep Trophy 2024-25: Duleep Trophy 2024 is starting from 5th September. This time a total of four teams will participate in the tournament. The squads of all the four teams were already announced by the BCCI. But now there have been big changes even before the start of the Duleep Trophy. Fast bowlers Mohammed Shami and Umran Malik are out due to injury. At the same time, Ravindra Jadeja has been released.
Navdeep Saini got a place
Both Mohammad Siraj and Umran Malik are battling illness and are not expected to be fit in time for the Duleep Trophy matches. Siraj is in the India-B team and Umran is in the India-C team. Now Navdeep Saini has got a chance in place of Siraj and Gaurav Yadav in place of Umran. This has increased the concern of Team India. Because now the biggest question is whether Siraj will be able to fit in the series against Bangladesh or not. On the other hand, Jadeja’s replacement has not been announced yet.
Navdeep Saini has been out of Team India for the last three years
Navdeep Saini played his last match for the Indian team in the year 2021. Since then he has been out of the team. Now he would like to perform well in the Duleep Trophy. So that he can be selected in the series against Bangladesh. He has played a total of 2 Test matches for the Indian team so far, in which he has taken 4 wickets. He has taken 6 wickets in 8 ODIs and 13 wickets in 11 T20 International matches for Team India.
