K Hoysala dies of heart attack
While celebrating with the team after Karnataka’s victory in the Aegis South Zone tournament, K Hoysala fell unconscious on the field due to severe chest pain. He was immediately taken to Bowring Hospital in Bengaluru by ambulance, but sadly he died of a heart attack on the way to the hospital. The tragic incident came to light on Thursday, February 22, and its details emerged on the evening of February 23.

K Hoysala was a middle-order batsman and also used to bowl. Hoysala represented the Karnataka team in the Under-25 category. He also played in the Karnataka Premier League. Dr. Manoj Kumar, director of Bowring Hospital and Atal Bihari Medical College, said that Hoysala was brought dead, most likely due to a heart attack.
