Mitchell Santner Took five wickets in the innings
Mitchell Santner has performed amazingly for New Zealand in the match. Indian batsmen were unable to stand against their excellent bowling and the strong Indian batting attack completely collapsed. In the first innings, Santner gave a total of 53 runs in 19.3 overs and took 7 important wickets. It was because of him that the Indian team was reduced to just 156 runs in the first innings. Then in the second innings, the Indian batsmen were troubled by the magic of his spin. He took the wickets of superstar batsman Virat Kohli in both the innings. In the second innings, he has so far given 76 runs in 21 overs and has taken five wickets.
Mitchell Santner has become the first New Zealand spinner to take 5 wickets in both innings of a Test match against India. Before this, no New Zealand spinner had been able to do such a feat.
