West Indies star all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has announced that he will retire after the Caribbean Premier League 2024 season. 40-year-old Bravo has informed about his retirement just hours before the opening match of the Trinbago Knight Riders’ CPL 2024. Bravo has already retired from international cricket.
Dwayne Bravo wrote in an Instagram post that it has been a great journey and I am looking forward to playing my last professional tournament in front of my Caribbean people. Trinbago Knight Riders is the team where everything started and it will end with my team. Bravo is also the highest wicket-taker in the CPL, taking 128 wickets in 103 matches at an average of 22.40 and an economy rate of 8.69. He has won the title a total of five times in the CPL so far. He led Trinbago Knight Riders to the title in 2017, 2018. He would like to end his professional career with a title.
Dwayne Bravo retired from IPL in the year 2023. Currently he is working as the bowling coach of Chennai Super Kings. As a player, he won many matches for the CSK team. He is the highest wicket-taker for the Chennai Super Kings team. He has taken a total of 154 wickets for CSK.

Dwayne Bravo is counted among the best all-rounders in the world. He is the highest wicket-taker in the history of T20 cricket. He has taken a total of 630 wickets so far. Apart from this, he has also shown excellent batting skills and has scored a total of 6970 runs, which includes 20 half-centuries.
