Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, India TV, today unveiled the logo of Kho-Kho World Cup 2025. India’s clay game Kho-Kho is going to have its World Cup for the first time. Kho-Kho World Cup will be played at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Delhi from 13 to 19 January 2025. 32 teams from 24 countries are participating in this Kho-Kho World Cup.

Strong efforts are being made to bring this game of Mahabharata period to the world stage today. The modern form of this game started in Maharashtra, which has today reached all the continents of the world. Kho-Kho’s entry in world sports history can be considered from 1936. When it was played in the demo games of the 1936 Olympics. And now the Kho-Kho Federation aims to include this game in the Olympics to be held in 2032.

Kho-Kho joins the Olympics

On the occasion of unveiling of the Kho-Kho World Cup logo, an exhibition match was also played. This match took place between Team Maharashtra and Rest of India Team.
