Bangladesh’s first innings was reduced to 233 runs, after which India declared its innings in a hurried manner at the score of 289/9 runs within 35 overs. Bangladesh could score only 146 runs in the second innings and thus Team India got the target of 95 runs to win, which it achieved by losing 3 wickets. Virat Kohli returned unbeaten after scoring 29 runs and Rishabh Pant after scoring 4 runs. Kohli hit 4 fours in this innings and made a big record in his name.
In fact, as soon as Kohli hit the third four of his innings, he completed his 1000 fours in Test cricket. Kohli is only the 5th Indian batsman to achieve this milestone in the history of Test cricket. Earlier this feat was done only by Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman.

In this sense, he has become the only active cricketer who has more than 1000 thousand fours in his name in both ODI and Test.
