Kyle Meyers played a fiery innings in the IPL debut match.
New Delhi. The Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) started on 31 March. The third match is being played between Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals on Saturday evening. At the very beginning of the 16th season, the players have started showing their colors. One of those names has come out of Kyle Mayers. This West Indies player has screwed up by aggressive batting in the IPL debut match itself.
Kyle Mayers was bought by the Lucknow team in the IPL 2022 auction for Rs 50 lakh. He did not get a chance to play last season. But his luck shone in the very first match of IPL 2023. In the absence of Quinton Dickock, he got a chance to open with captain KL Rahul. But while batting on 14, Meyers got a big lifeline when he dodged the ball of Chetan Sakaria. The catch slipped from the hands of Khaleel Ahmed, after that the batsman batted in an unbelievable manner.
