New Delhi. Due to political tension for the last several years, bilateral series between India and Pakistan is not being held. Both the teams are facing each other only in continental (Asia Cup) and global (ICC) tournaments. Recently both the teams met in the Asia Cup. During this, the fans of both the countries had reached the ground to see this match. The fans who could not reach the ground, enjoyed these matches in front of the TV at their home.

Seeing the success of the Indo-Pak clash, the England and Wales Cricket Board has tried to capitalize on it. The board has made a formal offer to host a bilateral Test series between the two teams, but the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has said that there is no such possibility in the near future.

After this offer from the England and Wales Cricket Board, speculation has started on social media. Fans of both the countries are dreaming of Test series between India and Pakistan. Some fans have also mentioned about the Indo-Pak fans match on social media. Meanwhile, a funny tweet from Iceland Cricket has surfaced.

Responding to England’s offer, the board wrote, ‘We have heard that the ECB has offered to host a Test series between India and Pakistan. We officially announce to the ICC that we are offering to do the same and can provide almost 24 hours of daylight in June and July, as well as improved tweets covering matches. With sniper protection.’
