Babar Azam got Padma Bhushan of Pakistan, captain created history by getting Sitara-e-Imtiaz

Mumbai: Pakistan captain Babar Azam has been conferred with the country’s third top civilian award, the Sitara-e-Imtiaz. According to the information in the Pakistani media, Pakistan’s captain in all formats, Azam was given this honor by the Governor of Punjab province of Pakistan, Mohammad Balig. At the age of just 28, Babar Azam has become the youngest recipient of the Sitara-e-Imtiaz.

If compared with the third highest civilian honors of India, Sitara-e-Imtiad can be called Padma Bhushan. The Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian honor in India, is followed by the Padma Awards, which include the Padma Vibhushan, the Padma Bhushan followed by the Padma Shri, for outstanding performance in various fields.
