The bogies of the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express derailed in Balasore, Odisha on Friday evening at around 7.20 pm. The Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express was going from the side track. Significantly, the derailed coaches collided with the coaches of the Coromandel Express on the side track. The derailed bogies of the Chennai Coromandel Express then collided with a goods train on another track.
