In this match, Brisbane, batting first, scored 175 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In response, the Perth team won the match by scoring 178 runs in 19.2 overs. Captain Ashton Turner played an explosive half-century innings of 53 runs in Perth’s victory. He faced 32 balls in which he hit 5 fours and two sixes.

Max Bryant also played a crucial innings of 31 runs in the middle order while Sam Hein contributed 21 runs in 16 balls.
