New Delhi. The second T20 International match of the 3-match series between India and New Zealand (IND v NZ) was played at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Lale had to score 100 runs on this pitch. Team India somehow won the match and equalized 1-1 in the series. It was not easy to bat on the pitch. After the match, there was a lot of ruckus about the pitch. According to sources in the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA), the pitch curator has been sacked.

Team India won here by 6 wickets. After the match, Indian team captain Hardik Pandya termed it as a shocking wicket. A total of 200 runs were scored in 39.5 overs on this wicket. Hardik Pandya had also expressed unhappiness about the pitch of Ranchi’s JSCA Stadium. Pandya had said that the wicket in both the matches was not fit for a T20 match.
