Butler created a storm in Hyderabad, scored a half-century in just 20 balls, scored 46 runs with sixes and fours

New Delhi. The fourth match of Indian Premier League 2023 is being played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad. In the initial overs of this exciting match, the stormy style of RR opener Jos Buttler has been seen. While opening the innings, he scored a half-century in just 20 balls with a strike rate of 250. This is his second fastest half-century in IPL. Earlier, in the year 2018 against Delhi Capitals, he had completed his half-century in just 18 balls at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Jos Buttler, who was batting in an explosive manner, was shown the way to the pavilion by being bowled by Afghan fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi. Butler faced a total of 22 balls for his team before getting out. Meanwhile, 54 runs came out of his bat at a strike rate of 245.45. Butler got 46 runs in his fine innings with just six fours. A total of seven fours and three sixes came out of Butler’s bat in this excellent innings.

Rahul and Cummins have the record for fastest fifties in IPL.

The special record of scoring the fastest fifties in IPL is in the names of KL Rahul and Pat Cummins. Both the players have done the feat of scoring half-centuries in just 14-14 balls. Rahul achieved this special achievement in the year 2018 against Delhi while playing for Punjab. While appearing for Kolkata in the year 2022, Cummins touched this record against Mumbai.
