Dinesh Karthik ready for Test debut in Border Gavaskar Trophy, explosive cricketer’s tweet created a stir

New Delhi. The three-match ODI and T20 series played between India and New Zealand respectively have ended. After hosting New Zealand, the Blue team is now ready to host the Australian team. A four-match Test series will be played between the two teams respectively under the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Before the start of the series, veteran batsman Dinesh Karthik, who is out of the Indian team, has created a stir with a tweet. He has told that he is ready for his Test debut in the Border Gawarkar Trophy.

The 37-year-old Indian veteran batsman tweeted, ‘I made my Test debut against Australia in India… well… it’s going to happen again! Along with this, he has shown himself very excited with love emoji.

After this tweet of Karthik, cricket lovers have started speculating whether he is joining the Test team in place of Shreyas Iyer. But let us tell you that nothing like this is going to happen. Karthik can be seen doing commentary during the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Earlier, he had never done commentary in Test format.

Talking about Dinesh Karthik’s Test cricket career, he has scored 1025 runs in 42 innings at an average of 25.0 while playing 26 Test matches for the country. Meanwhile, a century has come out of his bat. His best batting performance in Test format is 129 runs.
