Manchester. England has included fast bowler Ollie Robinson in the squad for the second Test of the series against South Africa. He will play his first Test since January. Robinson, who is returning from a persistent injury, will replace Matt Potts in England’s squad for the second Test starting Thursday at Old Trafford after clearing a fitness test. England had lost to South Africa by an innings at Lord’s last week.
Olly Robinson was England’s leading wicket-taker in Test cricket last year with 28 wickets in the summer season but has been battling injuries ever since. His fitness was also publicly criticized by bowling coach John Lewis.

After doing well for the England Lions in a four-day tour match against South Africa, he will now replace Potts, who failed to impress in the first Test at Lord’s. With no other opener in the team, Jock Crawley has been retained, who will be under a lot of pressure as his average has fallen to 16.40 in the last 10 Test innings. South Africa have to announce their team for the second test.
