In such a situation, Jose Butler told ‘ESPN Cricinfo’, “We want to choose our best available team in the World Cup and big ICC tournaments.” Sometimes there is frustration that we are not able to do this, but I understand the decision of the players.

Being the captain of England, I want the best players to play, but then from the point of view of the players, there is a lot of difference between earning from playing for England and playing franchise cricket, which has to be understood.

England have selected two new players Tom Abel and Rehan Ahmed in the team before the tour of Bangladesh. Butler said, “In these circumstances you have to choose the best available option. If someone doesn’t play, someone else will get a chance, but I don’t want to get into a situation where you say this player will never play for England again.”
