New Delhi. India’s stormy bowler Umran Malik and left hand pacer Arshdeep Singh have got a chance to debut in One Day International cricket against New Zealand (India vs New Zealand). For a long time there was a demand to include Umran in Team India’s ODI playing XI. Finally, he got a chance to show the havoc of his speed on the tour of New Zealand. Along with Umran, Arshdeep is also making his ODI debut in this match. Sanju Samson has also been successful in making a place in the playing XI.
People are quite happy on social media after Umran Malik and Sanju Samson were included in the playing XI. Fans are expressing their happiness by giving different reactions. Shikhar Dhawan, who is captaining Team India in the ODI series on New Zealand tour, handed over the debut cap to Arshdeep Singh. Sanju Samson played his last ODI against South Africa in Delhi in October this year.
A user wrote on Twitter of social media, ‘Finally Sanju Samson and Umran Malika got a chance in the playing XI.’ On the other hand, IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad has also expressed its happiness over Umran’s inclusion in the playing XI.
Arshdeep had performed brilliantly in the recently concluded T20 World Cup and the T20 series against New Zealand on the current tour. He has taken a total of 21 wickets in 17 List A matches.
Umran Malik made his debut in T20 International cricket at the beginning of the year. This stormy bowler has played 3 matches in List A. Umran has taken 2 wickets in 25 overs bowling. He has played 3 T20 International matches for India so far. Earlier, Umran kept sitting on the bench in the T20 series on the current New Zealand tour.
Sanju Samson has scored a total of 294 runs in 10 ODIs at a strike rate of over 106. During this, a total of 2 half-centuries have come out of Sanju’s bat. Samson’s best score in ODIs is 86 not out.
