On the other hand, if this match is canceled due to rain, then the host Kiwi team will win the series. The shadow of rain is hovering over the third ODI as well.

Before the ODI series, a 3-match T20 series was played between the two teams, in which the Indian team was captained by Hardik Pandya. Two matches of the T20 series were washed away by rain. The second match of the ODI series was also canceled due to rain. In the second ODI played in Hamilton, the match had to be canceled due to continuous rain.

New Zealand won the first match of the ODI series by 7 wickets. Tom Latham scored a century in the first ODI while captain Kane Williams scored a half-century. Indian bowlers had failed to save the score of 306 runs.

Rain can disrupt the third ODI between India and New Zealand. According to the New Zealand Meteorological Department, there is a 60 percent chance of rain in Christchurch on the match day i.e. Wednesday. According to AccuWeather, on November 30, the sky will be mostly cloudy in Christchurch. The weather will be cool and there is a possibility of rain after noon. The maximum temperature of the day is estimated to be 21 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature will be around 8 degree.
