The 36-year-old Warner has played across multiple formats in a busy summer schedule which includes ODI series against Zimbabwe, New Zealand, England, West Indies and South Africa. Apart from playing in the T20 World Cup, Warner also played half a dozen matches for the Sydney Thunders in the Big Bash League.

Warner told ‘Cricbuzz’, ‘It is very challenging. I am very tired. Some players have gone for the UAE league but are not attending Cricket Australia’s awards ceremony. But speaking of me, it would have been nice to stay at home with the family for one more night. But it is not in your hands.
