India tour starting from February 9
New Delhi. Australia’s star opener David Warner is quite tired ahead of the upcoming four-Test series against India starting on February 9 in Nagpur. Warner (36 years old) played in several formats in a busy summer schedule which included ODI series against Zimbabwe, New Zealand, England, West Indies and South Africa. Along with playing in the T20 World Cup, Warner also played in half a dozen matches for Sydney Thunders in the Big Bash League.
Warner told ‘Cricbuzz’, “It is very challenging. I am very tired. “He said,” Some players have gone for the UAE (United Arab Emirates) league but are not attending Cricket Australia’s award ceremony. But if you talk about me, it would have been better to stay at home with the family for one more night. But it is not in your hands.
