The ODI series between India and Bangladesh will begin on 4 December. The first match will be played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. The second match of the series will also be held on the same ground on 7th December. The last match will be played in Chittagong. The Indian team last played an ODI bilateral series in 2015 against Bangladesh. That series was held in Bangladesh itself and under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Team India had to face a 2-1 defeat in that series. After that series, there have been four ODIs in both the teams and Team India has won all of them.
The first match of the Test series will be played between the two teams in Chittagong from 14 December. The second match of the series will be held in Dhaka from 22 December. To reach the final of the Test Championship, the Indian team will have to win all their Test matches. For this reason, this tour is going to be important for the team.
