IND vs BAN: This strong player will challenge Rohit’s army, Bangladesh announced a strong team against India

Dhaka: Bangladesh has announced its squad for the three ODI series against India. The team’s experienced all-rounder Shakibul Hasan will be available for this series against India. Shakib missed the last series against Zimbabwe in August which saw Bangladesh lose the T20 and ODI series. Prior to the Zimbabwe series, Shakib played a key role in Bangladesh’s first win on their soil against South Africa, scoring a 64-ball 77.

Bangladesh later won the first ODI series (2–1) on South African soil. Chief selector Minhajul Abedin said on Thursday, “With Shakib back in the team, our ODI team will be stronger.” He said, ‘India is a very strong team but we are hopeful of a good performance as we will be playing at our home ground. This team can challenge India.

This will be India’s first bilateral series in Bangladesh since 2015. After this two test matches will be played. Three ODIs will be played between the two teams on December 4, 7 and 10, while the first Test will be held from December 14 to 18 and the second from December 22 to 26.

ODI series schedule between India and Bangladesh

The first match of the ODI series between India and Bangladesh will be played on 4 December. At the same time, the second ODI of the series will be played on 7 December while the third and last match will be played on 10 December. The opening two matches will be played in Dhaka while the last encounter is to be held in Chittagong.

Tamim Iqbal (c), Liton Das, Anamul Haque, Shakibul Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Afif Hossain, Yasir Ali Chowdhury, Mehdi Hasan Miraj, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmood, Ibadat Hossain Chowdhary, Nasum Ahmed, Mahmudullah, Najmul Hossain Shanto Nurul Hasan Sohan.
