Ind vs Eng: Former captain spying to save England from Suryakumar, WhatsApp message surfaced

India has to play against England in T20 World Cup semi-final
Suryakumar Yadav is considered a big threat to the England team.

New Delhi. The Indian team will play the semi-final against England in the ICC T20 World Cup on Thursday. Team India’s middle order batsman Suryakumar Yadav has shown a wonderful game. Former England captain Nasser Hussain tried to spy on Surya to benefit his team before the match against India. He himself has claimed that he was talking to the knowledgeable to find out his weaknesses.

The former English captain told Sky Sports, “It was very funny. I made a request to a CricViz person. He was making some preparations for the match. I told him, just do one thing, send me some strengths and some weaknesses of Suryakumar Yadav. Believe me, I was sent 15 strengths of Surya on WhatsApp group – he plays fast bowling, is good against spin. He hits the square, he plays more scoops than any other batsman in the history of the game.”

“Maybe Mahela Jayawardene is the only batsman who would have scored more runs in his square. His strike rate is better in all respects. After seeing all this I said okay now tell me some weaknesses. After that that WhatsApp group stopped there. The only thing that was there was the slow left arm spinner bowling and you know is this the only thing England doesn’t have. Dawson has been kept as a reserve player and I don’t see him being called for this one match.”

He further said, “I think Mark Wood will have to come forward and take charge of the bowling. I would like to use them to try Suryakumar. He hit a six off the first ball to Jofra Archer. Maybe he will go on to do something similar against Wood. Look, you can’t say anything, anyone can fail.”
