India leveled the three-match series at 1-1 by defeating New Zealand by six wickets in the low-scoring second T20 International cricket match thanks to the magic of spinners. Playing first after winning the toss, New Zealand scored 99 runs for 8 wickets. This is also his lowest score against India. To achieve the target of 100 runs, Team India had to play 19.5 overs. The dominance of the bowlers can be gauged from the fact that for the first time on Indian soil, no six was hit during a T20 International match. Only 14 fours were hit in the entire match, eight of which were hit by the Indian batsmen while six by the New Zealand batsmen. The spinners bowled 30 overs in the match, which is a new world record in this format.
