Indian players gave special gifts to PM Modi, Nikhat gave gloves and Hima gave them
Indian Athletes on PM Modi: Indian athletes who returned from the recently concluded Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham met PM Modi on Saturday. This meeting was organized at the residence of PM Modi itself. During this, PM Modi appreciated the achievements and efforts of Indian players. At the same time, Indian players gave some special gifts to PM Modi. Nikhat Zareen gifted him boxing gloves and Hima Das gifted him a traditional Assamese gamchha. After this meeting, Indian players are sharing their pictures with PM Modi on social media.

Sprinter Hima Das also shared a picture on Twitter giving a gift to PM Modi. He wrote, ‘Excited to receive blessings from our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I am fortunate that I got a chance to present her our traditional gamchha as a gift.

A year after winning the historic silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics, Commonwealth Games gold medalist champion weightlifter Mirabai Chanu thanked the Prime Minister for his encouraging words.
