Issy Wong of Mumbai Indians created history, became the first bowler to take a hat-trick in WPL

Mumbai: Mumbai Indians fast bowler Issy Wong has created history in the Women’s Premier League. She has become the first bowler in the history of the tournament to take a hat-trick wicket. In the Eliminator match of the tournament, Mumbai Indians faced UP Warriors. Right-arm English fast bowler Issy Wong bowled deadly bowling and sent three UP batsmen to the pavilion on three consecutive bowlers.

Bowled two batsmen

UP batsmen hit 19 runs against Amelia Kerr in the 12th over. After this, in the 13th over, captain Harmanpreet Kaur decided to bowl to Issy Wong. On the second ball of the over, Wong took the wicket of Kiran Navagire bowled. He was caught by Nate Seaver at mid-wicket. Wong bowled Simran Sheikh on the third ball. Sophie Ecclestone of England came to the crease on the next ball. Wong completed the hat-trick by bowling him on a straight ball.
