Similarly, players spend the largest part of their lives on the ground. Mohammad Kaif, who was once the life of Team India, has remembered his friends on the occasion of Friendship Day.

Kaif, who retired in 2008 after playing cricket for about 12 years, used to bat in the lower middle order. Everyone was in awe of his fielding. He played 13 Tests, 125 ODIs for India. In the final of the NatWest Series held in 2002, he played a memorable innings of 87 runs at Lord’s ground to win the team. Kaif was also part of the Indian team that reached the final of the World Cup in South Africa. Yuvraj Singh, Kaif are among those players who emerged from the Under-19 team. Kaif also won the Ranji Trophy for UP.
