New Delhi: Five international award-winning musicians can be seen performing at the opening ceremony of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, starting on Sunday. Organizers are in talks with Diplo, Kizz Daniels, Nora Fatehi, Trinidad Cardona and Calvin Harris. The grand opening ceremony will take place at Al Bidda Park in Doha, with over 20 artists from across the globe adding color to the evening. It is reported that Diplo will perform on different stages on November 22, Kizz on November 23, Nora on November 29, Trinidad on December 1 and Calvin on December 10.

Will perform in Hindi songs?

If reports are to be believed, Nora Fatehi will perform on Hindi songs. Sharing glimpses of the song on her Instagram, Nora wrote, ‘This time for the FIFA World Cup,’ the official World Cup anthem with a touch of diversity.’ The FIFA World Cup opening ceremony will be held in India on Sunday, November 20. According to Indian time, the opening ceremony will start from 8:30 pm. Many artists will participate in this.

Its anthem song ‘Light the Sky’ was released before the start of the tournament. Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi used to perform in this. FIFA released the song on 7 October. Its video was shared on its social media platform. Nora Fatehi has joined the club of Shakira and Jennifer Lopez by featuring in the anthem song of the Football World Cup. In the 2011 World Cup held in South Africa, Shakira performed on the anthem song Waka-Waka. At the same time, in the tournament held in Brazil in 2014, Jennifer Lopez performed on Anthem Song. The song on which Nora will perform has been composed by famous music producer RedOne.

Hosted in Middle-East country for the first time

The FIFA Football World Cup is being played for the first time in a Middle East country. With this, this will be the first time that the tournament will be played in November-December. 32 teams will participate in this 29-day tournament. There will be matches on 8 grounds in 5 different cities of Qatar. The first match will be played between the hosts Qatar and Ecuador. The knockout matches will start from December 3 and the final will be played on 18th.
