Adelaide. India entered the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup after beating Bangladesh by five runs using the Duckworth-Lewis system in a thrilling encounter on Wednesday. He also said that his country was hoping that India would lose their match against Bangladesh to increase Pakistan’s chances of qualifying in the semi-finals, but that did not happen.
The veteran fast bowler of his time also emphasized that Pakistan’s match against South Africa will not be easy. The ‘Men in Green’ will have to win the match against Africa by a decent margin at any cost to keep their hopes alive in the tournament. Akhtar said, ‘Bangladesh could have put the match in danger, but they did not do so. India did really well. Pakistan was praying that India somehow lose the match. Now Pakistan’s match against South Africa will be tough. This is going to be an awesome game. It is not going to be easy for Pakistan.

Akhtar also praised Kohli for continuing his excellent form in the tournament. The veteran also gave his views on the viral video of Kohli’s hotel room. He said that everything was well organized in Kohli’s room which shows his behaviour. He said, ‘I think Virat Kohli has been amazing and brilliant. Also his video which came out about his hotel room. We also stay in hotels all the time, so I request the staff and fans not to make such videos. You interfere in his personal life, showing his personal things on the video. Some people are living with their wife and children. But I am glad to see that his room is very clean. Everything is well organized. It shows the ways of the man.’
