Phil Salt’s brilliant batting
In reply to 170 runs, England got off to a brisk start. Alex Hales, who came to the opening with Phil Salt, was dismissed after scoring 27 runs in 12 balls. David Malan also scored 26 runs in 18 balls. Opener Phil Salt played a brilliant innings of 88 runs off 41 balls. He remained unbeaten till the end. Along with him, Ben Ducait also returned to the pavilion unbeaten on 26 off 16 balls. Thanks to the fiery innings of these four batsmen, England achieved the target in 14.3 overs losing just 2 wickets.
