New Delhi. Last 2 days have been like a dream for Afghanistan cricket. The Afghanistan team, captained by Rashid Khan, has won the 3-match series by defeating Pakistan (AFG vs PAK) in the second T20. The host Afghan team defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the second T20 played in Sharjah. With this, Rashid Khan & Co took an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series. Earlier, Afghanistan had defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets in the first T20 match, which was their first victory over Pakistan in any format.

Imad Wasim scored the most unbeaten 64 runs from Pakistan. He hit 3 fours and 2 sixes in 57 balls. Captain Shadab Khan was run out after scoring 32 runs. Pakistan scored 130 runs for 6 wickets. For Afghanistan, Farooqi took maximum 2 wickets. In reply, Afghanistan scored 133 runs for 3 wickets with 1 ball remaining.
Farooqui, Gurbaz and Zadran shine in Afghanistan’s victory
Chasing the target of 131 runs, Afghanistan got off to a good start. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Usman Ghani added 30 runs for the first wicket. Ghani got out after scoring 7 runs. After this Gurbaz got the support of Ibrahim Zadran. Both took the score to 86 runs. Gurbaj scored 44 runs in 49 balls. Zadran was dismissed after scoring 38 runs, while Najibullah Zadran also scored an unbeaten 23 off 12 balls. Mohammad Nabi returned unbeaten after scoring 14 runs off 9 balls. For Pakistan, Zaman Khan and Inshanullah took one wicket each.
