Rajinikanth became Surya, hit 6 different shots on the same ball, boom on social media

New Delhi: India scored 191 for six against New Zealand in the second T20 thanks to a century by in-form Suryakumar Yadav (111 not out). Suryakumar played just 51 balls for his second T20 International century. During this innings, 11 fours and seven tremendous sixes were hit. Surya, famous for his peculiar batting style, still played according to his image. Bowler even bowler captain Kane Williamson had no answer to Surya’s 360 angle shots. By the end of the innings, Tim Southee even hit a hat-trick, but that too got buried in front of the sun’s glare.

Now once again Suryakumar Yadav’s sting is ringing on social media. People are not tired of praising him. Yadav’s batting style, style of sixes and fours, everything is going viral. Former cricketer and known for his funny tweets, Wasim Akram has shared a video. They have made Surya as Rajinikanth.

New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl. Rain played spoilsport for 26 minutes but no overs were curtailed. Suryakumar again showed his fiery batting skills.

Suryakumar, who came out to bat at number three in the absence of Virat Kohli, hit fours and sixes at will and played just 18 balls for the last 64 runs of his innings.

Even though his innings did not look smooth, Suryakumar says that he kept it ‘simple’ and hit only so much ‘range’ of shots according to the fielders on the ground.

When the spinner pitched the ball towards the off-stump, he played an inside-out shot over cover and when the fast bowlers targeted his stumps on a good length, he hit it for a six over fine leg.
