New Delhi. Former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Rashid Latif believes that Pakistan is a better team at present than its arch-rivals India. He also said that India is a good team, but Pakistan has some great players like Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Speaking about the upcoming Asia Cup, Latif said that the main fight for the title is between India and Pakistan.
Rashid Latif, 53, said that he is optimistic about Pakistan’s chances in the Asia Cup. He said that last year t20 world cup Pakistan’s victory in the league stage match against India has raised their hopes. The Asia Cup-2022 is scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka from late August to early September.

India and Pakistan have faced each other 9 times in T20 International format, out of which Team India has won 7 times. In the other two matches, Pakistan was the winner. Both the teams will meet in the upcoming T20 World Cup on 23rd October at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
