Rohit Sharma Injury: Team India got a big blow, Rohit Sharma got the ball at 150 kmph, semi-final from England on November 10

Adelaide: The Indian team suffered a major setback on Tuesday morning when captain Rohit Sharma got injured during practice. During the throw down, Rohit missed his shot and the ball hit his hand. He left the net practice immediately. The Indian team has to play the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup against England on 10 November.

Alternate net practice was held today ahead of the tournament. Rohit tried a short arm pull and during the throwdown being thrown at a speed of over 150 from 18 yards, a ball took a bit more bounce. He missed the shot by a gap of a second and the ball hit his right hand. He left the session and was followed by a large ice pack tied to his right hand.

However, he remained on the net and sat on the ice box and watched the players practice from a distance. Mental conditioning coach Paddy Upton was seen talking to him for a long time. It is believed that the injury is not too serious and he will have no problem playing in the semi-finals on November 10. If his injury is deep, then it can prove to be a big setback for Team India.

The Indian team is being considered as the favorite for the final. Everyone wants to see him clash with Pakistan in the title match. However, for that, the Indian team will have to beat England in the second semi-final to be held on November 10. On the other hand, the first semi-final is to be played between Pakistan and New Zealand.
