T20 WC 2022: Huge win for South Africa, beat Bangladesh by 104 runs

South Africa vs Bangladesh: In the T20 World Cup 2022 (T20 WC 2022) match played on Thursday morning, South Africa has won a huge victory over Bangladesh. Batting first, South Africa made a huge score of 205 runs. In reply, the entire Bangladesh team was all out for just 101 runs.

After winning the toss against Bangladesh, the South African team lost its first wicket as captain Temba Bavuma (2), but after this Quinton de Kock and Riley Rosso took the news of the Bengali bowlers fiercely. Both the batsmen shared 168 runs in 81 balls. There was a time that the Proteas team could cross the 250-run mark but the run-rate slowed down after Quinton de Kock was dismissed for 63 off 38 balls. Riley Rosso’s scintillating century
Here South Africa’s number-3 batsman Riley Rosso scored a century against Bangladesh. He completed his century in just 52 balls. He was dismissed after scoring 109 off 56 balls. Riley Rosso hit seven fours and eight sixes in this innings. He was also adjudged ‘Player of the Match’. This is his second century in T20 International cricket. For Bangladesh, captain Shakib Al Hasan got two and Taskin, Hasan and Afif got one wicket each.

Bangla team could only score 101 runs
Chasing the target of 206 runs, the Bangladesh team started fast, but wickets kept falling at regular intervals only after the dismissal of Soumya Sarkar (15) on a total of 26 runs. Najmul Hossain (9), Shakib Al Hasan (1), Afif Hossain (1), Mehndi Hasan (11), Mosaddek Hossain (0), Nurul Hasan (2) returned cheaply to the pavilion. During this, Litton Das scored 34 runs in 31 balls and kept one end. He became a victim of Tabrez Shamsi.
