New Delhi. The main round matches of T20 World Cup 2022 have started. Afghanistan’s clash is going on with England in the second match being played on Saturday. Batting first after losing the toss, the Afghan team managed to score 112 runs in 19.4 overs, losing all their wickets. Batting at the third order for the team, Ibrahim Zadran contributed 32 runs off 32 balls. During this, three fours and a six came off his bat.

Apart from Zadran, Usman Ghani, who came out to bat at the fourth order, has contributed 30 runs in 30 balls. Apart from these two batsmen, other players of the Afghan team were seen battling for each run in front of the English bowlers. This was the reason that in front of the English team, the Afghan team was all out for 112 runs with two balls remaining.

In the Afghanistan vs England match, the English bowlers are less appreciated than they can be. The English bowlers always dominated the Afghan batsmen. This was the reason why the players of the Afghan team never failed to play freely.

For the team, Sam Curran, bowling 3.4 overs, got the maximum five successes by spending just 10 runs. Apart from Curran, Ben Stokes and Mark Wood took two wickets each and Chris Woakes took one wicket respectively.
