India lost to England in T20 World Cup semi-final
England beat Indian team by 10 wickets
New Delhi. Everyone will remember the semi-final match of the T20 World Cup played between India and England. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team came to end the drought of 15 years but will return with a humiliating defeat. England’s team showed the way out of the tournament by defeating India by 10 wickets. After the match, coach Rahul Dravid reacted to the senior players of Team India.
On Thursday, in the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup, India’s team came out to bat after losing the toss. After the failure of the opening pair, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya took over the innings. Both the half-century innings took the team to a score of 168 runs for 6 wickets. In response, England opener Alex Hales and Jos Buttler batted stormy in just 16 overs to lead the team to victory.
Coach Dravid, who came to talk to the media after the match, answered the question of retirement of senior players. He said, “I think it is too early to talk about this thing. It is not right if you say this only after this one semi-final match. All these players have done amazing work for us now. It will take a few years to speak or know anything about such things. We have some really amazing players in our team right now.”
“Look, we have lost in this match and this is not the time to talk and think about such things. We have a lot of time for all these things. We have a lot of time at the moment to prepare for the next World Cup, there is also a lot of matches, so there is no time to think so much on it.
