T20 world cup 2022: Shakib said, whenever we play with India, this happens to us

New Delhi. In the ICC T20 World Cup, the Indian team defeated Bangladesh and registered its third victory and strengthened its claim for the semi-finals. Batting first, India scored 184 for 6 on the basis of half-centuries from Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. Bangladesh was set a revised target of 151 runs in 16 overs after the rain interrupted. Bangladesh team could reach only 145 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. After the match, captain Shakib Al Hasan said that this always happens to us when we play against India.

On the question of losing after reaching victory, Shakib said, “Whenever we play with India, the same thing happens to us. We almost came close to winning this match but could not cross the winning line. Both the teams thoroughly enjoyed this match, it was a wonderful match and that is what we all want. In the end, one has to win the match and one has to lose.”

“If you look at the top four batsmen of India, they are very dangerous. Our plan was to get all four out and that’s why Taskin was bowled continuously. Unfortunately he failed to get the wicket but he did not give many runs. We are quite relaxed and don’t talk much about our previous matches in this World Cup, we have one more match left and want to focus on that.”
