bowlers did their job
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, continuing the status of giving his initial shocks, gave the first blow to the Netherlands by bowling Vikramjit Singh. After this, Axar Patel gave the second success to the team. After losing the early wickets, Netherlands had little experience and the team’s batsmen kept coming back one by one. Half the team had returned for 63 runs and the entire Netherlands team was seen kneeling before Bhuvi, Arshdeep, Ashwin and Axar. All of them took two wickets each.
Rohit, Kohli and Surya’s bat ran fiercely
The Indian team did not get the start as expected against the Netherlands, but Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli made the heart happy with the strong batsman. KL Rahul returned after scoring 9 runs and Kohli stepped on the field. From where he finished against Pakistan, he started against the Netherlands. The captain took some good shots and completed his half-century off 35 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes. Second blow to India for 84 runs.
Unbreakable partnership of Surya and Kohli
Suryakumar, who failed to score runs in the last match, joined Virat and started shooting shots in his own style. Netherlands bowlers were beaten from both ends. Kohli completed his half-century off 37 balls while Suryakumar completed his half-century in just 25 balls. For the third wicket, both of them together made an unbroken partnership of 95 runs to take the score to 179 runs for 2 wickets. Kohli made 62 off 44 balls while Surya returned unbeaten on 51 off 25 balls. Captain Rohit’s bat saw an innings of 53 runs off 39 balls.
