T20 World cup: Australian cricketer’s love for Pakistan cricket team, emotional after dinner party

New Delhi: Former Australian cricket team batsman Matthew Hayden is currently the mentor and batting coach of the Pakistan cricket team. The Pakistani team is in Australia for the ICC T20 World Cup. During this Hayden invited all the players of the team for a dinner party at his home in Queensland, Brisbane. During this Hayden gave a speech after which he became emotional. Apart from the Pakistani team, coaches Saqlain Mushtaq and Mohammad Yousuf also reached here at Hayden’s house dinner party. Along with this Hayden had also invited the great former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar. During this, the captain of the team Babar Azam was also seen taking batting tips with Gavaskar.


Giving a speech at this dinner party, Hayden said, ‘I am feeling very special today. I welcome everyone to my home. If I am welcoming you all to my home, it also means that I welcome you in my heart.

He said, ‘What I have felt in the last few days is that I am proud to be associated with this sport. I respect this great sport cricket. The game starts with a brotherhood, then it spreads to the family and then between countries. It is a beautiful part of our life.’

Let us tell you that Matthew Hayden has been appointed by the Pakistan cricket team as its mentor in the World Cup for the second time. Earlier, he was associated with the team in the 2021 World Cup played in the UAE. With the addition of Hayden, there has been a lot of change in the way of playing from the Pakistani team.
