T20 World Cup Opinion: Will Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh convince only cricket fans?

There is a lot of anger in the whole country after India’s bad defeat in the semi-final of the T20 Cricket World Cup. In the meantime, I would like to mention two statements here. The first statement has come from the great player of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar. He has told in his tweet that a coin has two sides. The same is with life. If we celebrate the victory of the team as our victory, then we should do the same in the defeat of the team. At the same time, Yuvraj Singh is saying that whenever our team takes the field, we want to see our team winning every time. However, it has to be accepted that there will be some days when we will not get the result according to us.

But why are the fans angry? Who will try to understand this? Is it a question of defeat and victory? So the answer is no.

To convince Indian fans, I want to remind Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh of the 2003 World Cup. Both the great players were the face of the Indian team at that time. He will remember how the Indian team struggled to reach the final. His sweat was also included in this achievement. But in the last match, the Indian team lost badly to Australia. In the first match, Adam Gilchrist, Ricky Ponting and Damien Martin scored 359 runs, blaming the Indian bowlers. Then the entire Indian team was reduced to 234. we loose. But more than this defeat of the Indian team, the captaincy of Sourav Ganguly and the journey of Team India which he had decided in the World Cup was discussed. Today, even after 19 years, people consider that World Cup to be Sourav Ganguly’s World Cup. After the spectacular performance of the Indian team in that World Cup, Ganguly became one of the most successful captains of the country.

So obviously people have no problem with that defeat as the Indian team was fighting throughout the tournament. And the whole world respects the combative player.

But this time in the T20 World Cup, did it look like this? Actually the only thing is how did you play in the match? Think whether the Indian team showed hunger for victory in any match?

When the Indian cricket team won the last ball match against Pakistan, then the whole world started doing Kohli-Kohli. It was definitely one of Kohli’s best performances. But what about the performance of the whole team? Did you feel that we have entered a big tournament like the World Cup with any preparation?

Did the team management brainstorm that if the match against an Asian team like Pakistan can get stuck on the Australian pitch, then what will happen to the non-Asian team? The Indian team even reached Australia before the Pakistan team. What is the impact of changed conditions, ground and pitch on performance, what will the team management have to teach?

But perhaps the team management would have become engrossed in the noise of the fans. How much was the preparation of the whole team there? It was also exposed in the match against South Africa. The weakness of the team was clearly exposed on the field. But why does the team management think about performance? Here the Indian fans were standing with the team. Due to the opposition of Pakistan, the story became such that this defeat was deliberately termed and the team management also thought let’s avert.

By the way, Bangladesh tried to wake up the Indian team team management once, when Liton Das single-handedly exposed the Indian bowling and told how prepared are you? But as soon as Liton Das was dismissed, the match had turned in India’s favor and the team management was busy in celebration.

Obviously we were playing but we were not fighting. Barring a few players, there was no hunger for victory in the team. It seemed as if the IPL was going on in which money was more important than winning or losing.

Obviously, how will the fans understand the point of Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh? No one wants to understand them. Will these two great players give some advice to the management like cricket fans?

And yes, finally my mind. ‘Loss and wins do not matter in the game’ must have been said for the first time only when that person has lost the match. Because the truth is that the match is played only to win.
