T20’s number-1 batsman went wrong, coach and captain broke the morale, became speechless
Sent Suryakumar Yadav to bat at number 7 in the third ODI
Gautam Gamir said that broke the morale of Suryakumar Yadav
New Delhi. The last match of the 3-match series between India and Australia will be remembered in Chennai because of many things. Australia won the toss and decided to bat first in the series decider. After the establishment of the opening pair, Hardik Pandya came and took 3 consecutive wickets. After this KL Rahul went out of the field and Ishaan Kishan got a chance to come as a substitute wicketkeeper. India’s batting order was the most surprising in this match, in which Akshar Patel was sent before Suryakumar Yadav.
Batting first against India, Australia scored a total of 269 runs thanks to Mitchell Starc’s 47 runs. Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav took 3-3 wickets while Mohammad Siraj and Akshar Patel took 2-2 wickets. Chasing the target, the Indian team got two initial setbacks. Rohit Sharma was dismissed after scoring 30 and Shubman Gill after scoring 37 runs.
Virat Kohli landed at number three and then KL Rahul was sent at number four. Till then it was fine but when India lost Rahul’s wicket, the coach sent Akshar Patel to bat while Suryakumar was yet to come. Akshar was run out after scoring 2 runs and this time Hardik Pandya was sent. Means even after being the leading batsman, he was dropped at number 7 in the batting order due to being dismissed for zero in two matches.
While commentating during the match, former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir expressed surprise at the batting order of Suryakumar Yadav. He said, I think the number 1 batsman of T20 was held back in this way. Dropping them down the order is demoralizing.
