Team India: Now equal match fees for men and women cricketers, Jay Shah said – the beginning of a new era

Indian Team Players Match Fee: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has taken a big decision regarding women players. BCCI secretary Jay Shah said that now women players will get match fees at par with male players. Jay Shah has tweeted about match fees. In this, he has explained in detail about the match fees of female players.

Jay Shah wrote in the tweet, “I am happy to announce that BCCI has taken the first step towards tackling discrimination. We are implementing wage equity policy for women cricketers. Match fees will be the same for both male and female cricketers as we enter a new era of gender equality in cricket.

He further wrote, “Women cricketers will be paid the same match fees as their male counterparts. Rs 15 lakh will be given for Test match, Rs 6 lakh for ODI and Rs 3 lakh for T20I. Jai Hind”
