‘True player of the team…’ Ishant Sharma wished Murali Vijay on his retirement

New Delhi. Murali Vijay, who played the role of the regular opener of the Indian team, has announced his retirement today. He decided to retire from all forms of cricket. After 2018, the selectors did not pay any attention to this player. Recently, Vijay had also raised objection regarding this matter. But now he has announced his retirement. Meanwhile, his teammate fast bowler Inshat Sharma has congratulated him.

Murali Vijay worked as the backbone for Team India in Test cricket. He announced his retirement on Monday i.e. January 30 on social media. Murali has also contributed in the Indian Premier League. He has also played many matches with MS Dhoni.
Murali, who has been the lifeblood of Test cricket, will no longer be seen playing in domestic cricket as well. Murali Vijay wrote in the post, ‘Today I am announcing my retirement from all formats of cricket with respect. The years from 2002 to 2018 were one of the special moments of my life. I had the honor of playing for my country. I am very grateful to the BCCI, Tamil Nadu Cricket Association and Chennai Super Kings for giving me the opportunity to play.
