Youngest player to win Grand Slam in last 17 years
Alkaraz had landed in the US Open as a world number-4 player. He was seeded third at the US Open. In contrast, Kasper Roode is the world number-7 player. He was seeded 5th in the US Open. The US Open final was the first Grand Slam final for Alcaraz, while it was the second Grand Slam final for Roode. Alcaraz also made two big records by winning the US Open title. He became the youngest player to win a Grand Slam title in the last 17 years. In the US Open, he became the youngest player to win the trophy in the last 32 years.
