New Delhi. Pakistan failed to lift the T20 World Cup trophy for the second time on Sunday (November 13) after losing to England in a big match. However, Matthew Hayden, the mentor of the Pakistan cricket team, did not seem upset after the final. Hayden gave an emotional speech after Pakistan’s five-wicket defeat. The former batsman said that he is proud of Pakistan’s performance. The official Twitter handle of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also shared the footage of the speech.
Sharing this video, the caption was given, “Matthew Hayden is proud of the team’s effort and performance in the tournament.” The former Australia opener can be heard saying in the clip, “It is applause how in every game, in every net session, players who didn’t get a chance to play came forward. It’s never easy. This is the toughest job in the world and I hope you feel proud of the achievements of this sports team. I just want to say thank you for giving your 100 percent to this campaign for sharing your dressing room with me, your heart, your mind and your soul too.”

Along with this, he also talked about Pakistan’s chances in the ODI World Cup to be held in India next year.
