VIDEO: Virat Kohli and KL Rahul reached Nagpur… First Test against Australia from 9.. WTC final ticket at stake

New Delhi. A 4-match Test series will be played between India and Australia (IND vs AUS) from 9 February. For this series to be played under the Border Gavaskar Trophy, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul have reached Nagpur where the first Test match will be played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium. For the first time in the last 5 years, a Test match is being organized at the VCA Stadium in Jamtha. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were spotted at the airport on Thursday (February 2). From where he flew to Nagpur.

The Australian team led by Pat Cummins has already reached India. The Kangaroo team has set up its five-day camp in Bengaluru. This camp will end on 6 February. After this the visiting team will leave for Nagpur. India defeated Australia 2-1 in the Border Gavaskar Trophy in the year 2020-21. Team India is the current champion of the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT).

WTC final ticket at stake
This much-awaited series has been waiting for a long time. World number one Australia and world number two team India can see a battle of thorns. In this series, the ticket for the World Test Championship final is at stake. Since 2004-05, the Australian team has never won this trophy in India.
