To make the people of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh feel like home, their local dialect Bhojpuri is being given fun. Till last year, IPL was available in only six languages, including Hindi, English, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil. Famous Bhojpuri actor and BJP ticket MP from Gorakhpur Ravikishan is entertaining the people. He has also posted from his Twitter handle.
Shivam Singh, who does commentary in Bhojpuri language, is an active cricketer. Talking to the media, said, ‘I was very happy the day I was selected for the commentary panel. I am now looking forward to sharing the stage with legendary cricketers like AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle and others. It is like a dream come true for me. I qualified for the interview and screening test and signed the contract. I am in Mumbai right now and today was our first rehearsal day. I met international cricketers like Kedar Jadhav and Venkatesh Prasad.
Talking about the match, batting first after losing the toss, Chennai Super Kings scored 178 runs for seven wickets and kept a challenging total in front of Chennai. Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 92 runs in 50 balls with nine sixes and four fours, but apart from him, only Moin Ali (23) could cross the 20-run mark. For Gujarat, leg-spinner Rashid Khan took 26, Mohammed Shami took 29 while Alzarri Joseph took two wickets for 33 runs.
