Virat Kohli-Babar: Babar Azam met Virat before the Asia Cup clash, ‘King’ ready to roar against Pakistan

New Delhi: The Indian team has reached Dubai for the T20 Asia Cup starting on August 27 in the UAE. BCCI has released a video of Team India players after reaching Dubai. In this video all the players of the team are seen going to the field for practice. During this, Indian players were seen meeting the players of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Former team captains Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal and Hardik Pandya met Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi with a warm welcome. However, the most special meeting in this period of this meeting was the meeting of Virat Kohli and Babar Azam. When Virat Kohli was coming on the field for practice, then Pakistani captain Babar Azam was leaving the field with a kit bag on his shoulder. Babar met Virat with warmth as soon as he saw him.

During this meeting, Yuzvendra Chahal and all-rounder Hardik Pandya were seen having a long conversation with the players of Afghanistan. While going for practice, Virat Kohli also spoke to Afghanistan’s star spinner Rashid Khan.

Let us tell you that Team India’s first match in the Asia Cup will be played on August 28 against arch-rivals Pakistan. This great match between the two teams will be played at the Dubai International Stadium. Today was the first day of practice for the players of Team India before the match.

At the same time, VVS Laxman, who was appointed interim coach of Team India, addressed all the players and talked to everyone for a long time. Laxman has reached the UAE directly from the Zimbabwe tour along with the team’s vice-captains KL Rahul, Deepak Hooda and Avesh Khan. Laxman has been appointed as the coach for the Asia Cup in place of Rahul Dravid.

In fact, just before the Asia Cup, the head coach of the Indian team, Rahul Dravid, got infected with the corona virus, due to which Laxman has been sent to the UAE with Team India. Dravid is currently under the supervision of the BCCI medical team and will join the team as soon as the corona report comes negative.
